FAQ

  • So your pronouns are he and she?

Yes! When speaking or writing about me, please ensure that you use he/him/his and she/her/hers and avoid gender-neutral terms or they/them/their pronouns. She/he pronouns can be used interchangably at any time. My preference in writing is to mix them up/use both sets. When an honourific is necessary, please use lowercase mr. instead of Miss. or Mr, and avoid the term “preferred pronouns” and “identifies as”.

These are my pronouns and I am genderfluid.

  • What kind of workshops do you run?

I develop and run workshops on a variety of topics including: writing (creative nonfiction/short stories), comics/graphic storytelling, zine making, insights into the literary sector (Australia), social media presence/use (for authors), disability in the arts, fanfiction/transformative works as well as general queer and transgender education.

The tone of my workshops is celebratory- to build participant’s confidence and provide digestible bites of information and resources to encourage further development and creativity outside of the workshop.

I am currently available for workshops with participants of all-ages. Though participants who identify as ‘emerging’ or in the early years of pursuing their creativity/professional arts career will most benefit.

  • Do you do sensitivity reading?

As a genderfluid, neurodivergent person, my specialty and personal experience is in these areas. Particular experiences where I can offer my critical eye include: representation for ADHD, depression, C-PTSD, anxiety, neurodiversity (general), learning disabilities (dyspraxia and dyslexia) and rural/country living.

  • Do you do school visits?

Yes, I do! I particularly love working with students aged 15 - 18.

  • How can I support your work?

The best way to support my work is to book me to come to your workplace/school/event or organisation!

Outside of direct work together, you can also find me on Patreon— where direct support helps give me the time to Make More Things as well as experiment with some new stuff including long form comics, streaming and animation.

For one off/short term support, you can Buy Me a Cuppa (Coffee). All support for any duration is appreciated immensely.

  • Are you open for art commissions?

I am currently CLOSED for commissions.
